Diagonal Parking Request Approved by City Council

A resolution for diagonal parking on the north side of West Works Street between South Brooks Street and the alleyway to the west was an item of consideration at Monday night’s Sheridan City Council business meeting. City Engineer Thomas Morneau said First Interstate Bank at 24 South Brooks Street is looking to improve the parking on West Works Street for use by the bank as well as the community to improve downtown parking.

Morneau said adding diagonal parking at this location allows for six diagonal parking spaces along the north side of West Works Street and that the project will be funded by First Interstate Bank and managed by the developer. Following Morneau’s presentation, the City Council approved the resolution allowing for the diagonal parking.
