The CVMA invites Sheridan locals to take part in Nationals
The Combat Veteran Motorcycle Association will hold its national gathering in Sheridan June 21 – 27.
Organizers estimate that approximately 3,000 CVMA members from all 50 states will be riding into Sheridan to take part in the national event.
CVMA Auxiliary State Representative for Wyoming, Cindy Kremers told listeners of Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse newstalk program who the CVMA are and why they gather together in comradery.
The association is registered as a 501(c)(19) veterans’ charity, whose mission is to support and protect those who have defended the country and the freedoms of US citizens. They’re primary focus is to provide assistance and help to individual veterans, veteran care facilities, other veteran organizations and registered charities; veterans helping veterans.
The organization will help fellow veterans in any way they can from fixing a hot water heater to collecting money that go to scholarships for the children of veterans, Kremers said.
The national gathering will bring members from all over the US to take part in a week of events, which the CVMA would like local residents and visitors to take part in with them.
