One Killed In Single Vehicle Crash North Of Sheridan

A Sheridan County man is dead after crashing his vehicle on a county road.

According to a Wyoming Highway Patrol fatality crash summary report, sometime before 8:30pm on August 20th, 51-year old Daniel Dalin was driving his vehicle on Beatty Gulch Road, when he failed to negotiate a curve, causing the vehicle to enter into a passenger side slide.

The vehicle exited the roadway, tripped, collided with a fence, and went into a passenger-side leading roll.

Dalin, who was not wearing his seat belt, died as a result of injuries he sustained in the incident.

A passenger in the vehicle sustained unknown injuries.

At the time of the incident it was the 86th highway fatality of this year.

Since then that number has increased to 91, which is on an even pace compared to this time last year.
