The Sheridan City Council, at their regular business meeting Monday night, considered a request to rezone property in north Sheridan. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
An ordinance to rezone 26.3 acres at 4250 Yellowtail Drive from a Higher Education District and R-3 Residence District to a B-2 Business District, was approved on first reading by the City Council. City Planning Director Kelly Schroeder.
Schroeder said the applicant is requesting the rezone of the property in order to build a church on the property. The ordinance must be approved two more times before the rezone goes into effect.
