Sheridan Commission Appoints Viewer in Hickory Ave. Vacation

Sheridan County’s Commissioners considered the appointment of a viewer in the proposed vacation of Hickory Avenue from 16^th Street to the Sheridan City Limits Fence and 15^th Street from Ash Avenue to Birch Avenue in the Downer Addition.

County Engineer Ken Muller was asked to speak about the proposal.

According to the Oath of Viewer in the meeting paperwork, Ken Muller agrees to find whether Hickory Avenue and 15^th Street within Downer Addition is required; whether in his judgment the proposed vacation is practicable snd whether or not they should be vacated; and the expense of vacating and any possible damages to adjacent landowners if the vacation is approved.

The commission voted to appoint Ken Muller as Viewer in the proposed vacation.
