The YMCA Annual Give Your Heart to a Child Campaign begins Oct. 20

On Oct. 20, the Sheridan County YMCA will kick-off its annual Give Your Heart to a Child campaign Tuesday, raising money to help disabled residents, children, families and seniors access YMCA memberships and activities.

Executive Director of the Sheridan County YMCA, Liz Cassiday said no amount is too small and gifts of all sizes help people of all ages be a part of the YMCA community, stay active, develop new skills and build confidence.

These scholarships pay for swimming, youth sports, fitness classes and family programs for many residents. The scholarships are only made possible by the many people in the Sheridan community giving what they can to ensure others can be a part of programs at the YMCA.
