Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum to Host Screening of Who She Is

The Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum is planning a free screening of Who She Is, a documentary about four women whose stories are part of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women crisis.

Director of the Jim Gatchell Museum, Sylvia Bruner, appeared on Sheridan Media’s Pulse inviting the community to view the film at the Buffalo Theater, 6-8 p.m. Monday Oct. 19.

Directed by Jordan Dresser and Sophie Barksdale, the film uses animation and first-person storytelling to introduce viewers to the women’s lives, relationships and experiences, remembering who they were in life and showing audiences the real women beyond statistics.

Bruner said Northern Arapaho member Tammy Snyder, who helped with the film in memory of her sister, will take questions after the screening.
