The City of Buffalo will apply for a roughly $2.9 million loan through the State Loan and Investments Board (SLIB) to replace the sewer main on North Burritt Avenue.

Mayor Shane Schrader gave more details on the proposed project during the city council’s recent meeting.

The project, according to discussions at an earlier council meeting, will replace roughly 5,380 linear feet of sewer main along with 120 service connections and nine sewer manholes between Fort Street and Watkins.

The council voted to allow the mayor to sign the loan documents.
