Johnson County OKs Agreement for Extension Youth Specialist

Johnson County’s Commissioners considered the Compensation Agreement for the University of Wyoming concerning the Extension Office’s Youth Specialist.

Commission Chairman Bill Novotny gave more details.

According to information provided by the commissioners’ assistant, the Compensation Agreement is a 50/50 split between the university and the county, with the University contributing salary and employer paid benefits in the amount of $45,335.64 and the County contributing $24,906 annually to the University of Wyoming Extension in four payments of $6,226.50 due in October 2025, and January, March, and June 2026.

The commissioners voted to approve the agreement with the University of Wyoming.
