The Sheridan Turkey Trot has been canceled 

In an alert to Sheridan Media, Art Baures has announced that due to predicted inclement weather conditions on Thanksgiving Day, the Turkey Trot has been canceled for the 2023 year.  

According to the alert, it would prove difficult to ensure the safety of participants without the intervention of city services, such as clearing the parkway at Kendrick Park in response to the predicted snowfall scheduled to take place before and during the scheduled race time. 

Organizers apologize for this inconvenience and look forward to everyone participating next year.
