House Draw Fire Update for August 25

Sunday, the Southwest Area Incident Management Team #5 will assume command of the House Draw Fire, the Remington Fire, and the Constitution and Flat Rock fires. The IMT will be managing the fires as a “complex,” and the team brings much needed additional resources to plan for and manage the fires.

The latest specifics on the fire include the size estimated at roughly 175,000 acres with 88% containment as of Sunday morning, August 25.
