July 2022 Unemployment Rates In Sheridan And Johnson Counties Decrease

The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services says for the 7th month in a row, the state’s unemployment rate has decreased.
New numbers show that the statewide rate dropped from 3.1% in June, to 3.0% in July.
It was 4.5% in July of 2021.
The U.S. seasonally adjusted unemployment numbers for July 2022 is at 3.5%, which is the first change of any kind since March.
Sheridan Counties’ unemployment rate decreased from 3.0% in June to 2.7% in July, while Johnson County’s percentages were down from 2.8% to 2.6%.
The July 2021 percentages for Sheridan County was 4.0% and Johnson County was 3.5%.
Teton County had the lowest unemployment rate in July at 1.7%, while Sweetwater County had the highest rate at 3.9%.
Nonfarm employment in the Cowboy State has increased by 7,100 jobs from July 2021 to July 2022.
