Fire crews are on the scene of a forest fire burning in northwestern Johnson County.
According to the US Forest Service, the fire was detected on Thursday (July 14th), about 2.5 miles southeast of Willow Park Reservoir on the Powder River Ranger District.
The fire is about 1 acre in size and is in the headwaters of Middle Rock Creek.
Suppression efforts are being aided by a load of smokejumpers out of West Yellowstone and the Wyoming State Helicopter.
