The Sheridan County Commission has approved a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) that will allow the Story Public Library to expand their building.

County Planner Mark Reis explained the CUP application during this week’s county commission meeting.

Planning staff and the planning commission both recommended approval of the CUP, with the planning commission giving four conditions that included a minimum lot area variance approval; a WYDOT access permit, if required, be approved; exterior lighting recommendations; and that future new structures, modifications, additions fall within IBC requirements, require Sheridan County Building Permits and may require new CUPs.
