Clearmont Community Picnic Held

A warm, sunny day made the perfect ambiance for the first Clearmont Historic Group Community Appreciation picnic held on Sunday, Sept. 13, in Branding Iron Park.

Clearmont Historic Group President Robert Prusak had this to say about the picnic.

The event was attended by nearly 40 Clearmont area residents. Town Clerk Barbara Pepin, who is new to the Clearmont area, felt the picnic was a good idea.

The Clearmont Historical Center is located on Main Street in Clearmont. There is a small museum, and there are special events throughout the year.

Dogs were welcome as well.

Currently, they are accepting handcrafted fabric and fiber items to be displayed through the month of October.
