Jo Co Commission Discusses Upcoming Vacancies on Boards

Vacancies on Johnson County boards were discussed at the recent county commission meeting.

Administrative Assistant Kristen LaDuke explained that the current openings were for positions on the JOCO First (Kaycee-Buffalo-Johnson County Economic Development Joint Powers Board), the 1% Sales Tax Board, and the Harold Jarrard Park Board.

Those that may be interested in serving on one of the boards can apply online on the county’s website, or by stopping in to LaDuke’s office at the historic courthouse.

She was asked about openings that will happen at the first of the year.
