The Federal Bureau of Investigation convened federal, state, local and tribal public safety leaders Monday at War Memorial Stadium for a regional briefing on statewide security priorities. The event featured a joint leadership panel comprising of FBI Director Kash Patel, FBI Denver Special Agent in Charge Amanda Koldjeski, U.S. Attorney for the District of Wyoming Darin Smith, and U.S. Representative Harriet Hageman.

According to the U.S. Department of Justice Office, discussions centered on expanding multi-agency task forces to dismantle drug trafficking enterprises, evolving unmanned aircraft systems, and enhancing public safety efforts on the Wind River Indian Reservation.

Attorney Smith thanked the FBI for hosting the briefing and the alliance of local, state, and tribal law enforcement partners. Smith said that because criminal networks don’t stop at geographic boundaries, this unified approach is exactly how they keep Wyoming communities safe. Participating agencies leverage shared intelligence and joint operations to successfully target violent crime and narcotics across Wyoming.
