The season may not have ended the way that they wanted, but the Tongue River girls basketball accomplished some goals this season.
Chaylee Campbell scored 13 points and Faith Whitehead added 10, but it wasn’t enough as the Lady Eagles would lose in the 2A Girls Consolation Championship game vs. Riverside 41-34.
TR shot 27% for the game (13-48 shooting), while the Lady Rebels were at 37% (16-43).
Tongue River finished the season with a record of 12-17, but qualified for the state tournament, for the first time since 2015.
The Lady Eagles lose 2 seniors to graduation, meaning there should be plenty of experience returning for next season.
