Chaney Reish Of Tongue River HS Surpasses 1,000 Points On The Basketball Court

One Tongue River Lady Eagle has flown over a big scoring mark.

On the opening weekend of this season, Senior Chaney Reish surpassed the 1,000 point scoring mark.

So far this season she is averaging 19.8 per game which is 3rd best in 2A.

Reish says when it comes to putting in points, she tends to feed off of her teammates and they do the same with her, making it a symbiote circle of sorts.

“I didn’t do it by myself. I had a lot of good teammates throughout my years that have helped me and made me a better player and I happened to score. Sometimes it goes in, but I just have to be confident with myself and when, if we’re down then just starting our offense, because once one person scores then it’ll just create a chain of other people scoring too.”

TR is the 2-time defending 2A State Champs and currently have a record of 9-3 this season.

The Lady Eagles are scheduled to play this coming Thursday at Big Horn.
