Sheridan HS Basketball: After having 2 ½ weeks off from competition, the Sheridan High School boys basketball team made it look like that no rust had set in during the down time.
The Broncs easily took care of business at Cheyenne East and at Cheyenne Central to start 4A East Conference play.
Head Coach Jeff Martini says in hind-sight, he was not worried about how things would go, once the boys got back into game mode.
Meanwhile the Sheridan girls basketball team did not fare as well this past weekend against their opponents in Cheyenne.
The biggest problem was taking care of the ball, as turnover splagued the Lady Broncs in both games.
Head Coach Chris Wagner says there were a few bright spots from some bench players, that are trying to work their way into some more playing time.
Both the Sheridan boys and girls are at home this weekend, to play Laramie on Friday and Cheyenne South on Saturday.
