Sheridan HS Boys and Girls Basketball: The Sheridan High School boys basketball team is 6-0 after their first run through the 4A East Conference and the team is making it look easy.

On average the Broncs have outscored the competition 78-42, and have beaten every team by at least 18 points.

Head Jeff Martini says all these blowout wins can be fun and boring at times, but the boys know to not play down to their level of competition.

After an 0-3 start in conference play, the Sheridan girls have righted the ship, as they also get ready for their second run through the conference.

In Friday’s win vs. Campbell County, the Lady Broncs scored more points in the first quarter, than the opposition did the entire game.

Senior Parker Treide says that’s a credit to the teams’ defense.

Sheridan plays at home this coming Friday vs. Cheyenne East and on Saturday vs. Cheyenne Central.

University of Wyoming Basketball: The Wyoming Cowboys are back in action today as the team visits San Diego State.

Tip off is scheduled for 9pm and you can hear the game LIVE on AM 1410 KWYO and 106.9 FM.

Colorado Avalanche Hockey: The Colorado Avalanche lost last night at home vs. Detroit 2-nothing.

The Avs are next scheduled to play tomorrow at home vs. San Jose.

It is the last game before all teams take a 3-week break for the Winter Olympics.
