On April 17th, 2021, Cory Blaney passed away from a tough battle with cancer. He passed away surrounded by his wife and kids.

Cory was born and raised in Sheridan, WY by his loving parents Dan Jr. and Agnes Blaney. Cory had a brother Dan III. He loved to play sports especially baseball and go hunting with his dad.

Cory met his loving wife Toni in 1989 where they dated for four years and then got married on June 12, 1993. Cory and Toni had four amazing kids, Hailey, Zach, Emily and Madison. Cory was very proud of his family and loved them with everything he had in him. He would have loved to have many more kids if Toni would have agreed to it.

For everyone who knew Cory, he had one of the biggest hearts you could imagine. He would pour his heart out into helping anyone who needed it.

Cory loved to enjoy his free time in the mountains, camping, going hunting and four wheeling with friends and family. One thing my dad had began to love was his greenhouse. Cory loved to grow all sorts of vegetables for family and friends. He wasn’t a huge fan of eating hot peppers and all the vegetables but he knew his friends and family loved them so he grew a passion for it. Cory had just gotten into making salsa. He loved to spend his free time making all different kinds for everyone.

We hope that you leave today having shared a laugh and all your good memories of Cory. We have made special packets for everyone with pepper seeds in them to grow. We know Cory will be smiling from above knowing everyone could enjoy his passion of gardening and grow a little plant of their own.

A Celebration of Life for Cory will be 12:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M., Sunday, July 18, 2021,  at the Kalif Shrine, please join the family for a potluck  at 145 W. Loucks, Sheridan, WY.
