Peter Russell Eisele was born on August 8, 1947, in Buffalo, Wyoming to Glen and Jean Eisele.  He grew up and went to school in Buffalo and graduated from Johnson County High School with the class of 1965.  After high school he joined the U.S. Navy and served on the USS Picking as a radar operator during the Vietnam War. Following an honorable discharge, he returned to Buffalo where he worked for Jim Guyton, Dean Smith, and Bob Twing as a ranch hand. He later worked on construction as a heavy equipment operator.  Pete later took a job with Johnson County Road and Bridge as an equipment operator.  When he retired from the county, he took a job at the Sports Lure where he was their archery pro. After his permanent retirement he continued to live in Buffalo until his death.

Pete was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and shooting sports, especially archery.  He was president of the local gun club for many years and competed in bench rest competitions.  Pete loved fast cars and owned a 1969 Chevy Nova which was known as the fastest car in Buffalo. Uncle Pete enjoyed visiting and making friends but also valued his time alone.  He faced his illness with courage and an amazing sense of calm hope.  He was a strong Christian and said he was looking forward to going home. Pete never married, saying he considered himself to be the smart one, and considered his niece and nephews to be his children. He is survived by one sister, Cynthia Twing and her husband Don of Buffalo; one brother from a different mother, Alvie Burleson of Buffalo; three nephews, Josh Milek and his wife Betsy, and their children, Logan and Evelyn, of Lander, Wyoming; Nate Milek and his wife Whitney and their children, Macoy and Wade also of Lander, and Cameron Twing and his wife Nicole and their son Maysen of Laramie, Wyoming; one niece Ruth Twing of Fort Collins, Colorado, and his dog Posy.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Helen Milek and her husband Bill.
