Janeen Page Dewey

Janeen Dewey passed at home in Sheridan WY, on May 5, 2026, with her husband, Carl Dewey, at her side. Janeen was a devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt to her large family. To her extended family and friends on the ranch, at church, and in the community, Janeen was a joy to all those around her and who had the pleasure of knowing Janeen.

Janeen was born in Roswell NM and moved across the west with her family, eventually settling in Tucson, Arizona where she graduated from Cholla High School. Later, Janeen attended the University of Arizona studying Accounting which led to a career with a local bank In Sheridan. Many may not know that Janeen was a sports fan and despite the years separating her from Tucson, she remained a devoted Arizona Wildcat.

In Sheridan Janeen found her calling for helping people and pivoted from her career in banking to Nursing, obtaining her RN at Sheridan College before working at Billings Clinic. Janeen spent her life in service to and helping others and it came as no surprise that she found such joy in her career as a nurse.

Janeen met and dated Carl in high school and while they both took different paths, they found their way back to each other and married in 1992. Carl introduced Janeen to Sheridan and the other love of her life, the Ranch. Janeen and Carl built a loving life on the ranch and welcomed family, friends, and at times, strangers to the ranch over their 35 years together. On the Ranch, Janeen enjoyed gardening, doing anything with Carl, and perhaps her favorite pastime, coming up with new projects for Carl which he happily accepted to spend more time with her. Their love and devotion to each other was apparent to everyone and is an example to all.

Janeen has so many passions, music, church, gardening, and other people, but she was most passionate about her family. Janeen joins her parents Leo and Nelda Page, as well as three of her siblings, Fawn, Todd, and Bradley Page in the afterlife. She awaits her devoted Husband, Carl Dewey, five children – her boys, Brian Prentice, Kip Prentice, John Dewey, and Josh Grabinger and her daughter Jennifer Dewey and eight grandchildren Alayna, Benjamin, Easton, Eleanor, Oliver, Amelia, Vivian, and LB. Additionally, Janeen leaves behind her six remaining brother and sisters, Kent Page, Gregg Page, Ivan Page, Jackie Mims, Teresa Grabinger, and Traci Diaz.

 A memorial service will be held Friday, May 15^th at the LDS Chapel in Sheridan Wyoming. Viewing will begin at 10:00 AM, the memorial service at 11:00 AM followed by a reception. The burial service will be held at Janeen and Carl’s ranch later that afternoon.
