George Sherard

George Emmett Sherard, of Sheridan Wyoming, passed away peacefully on March 29th, 2026 surrounded by his wife and family.

George’s life could paint a picture of resiliency and strength. He never let his disability stop him from doing the things he loved. He was always there with the knowledge to fix a multitude of problems for anyone who needed it. You could always find George with a pool cue in hand, and laughing with his pool league. He always brought humor and a welcoming spirit to every game and tournament. George was an avid outdoors man and was up for any hunting and fishing adventure. Although he didn’t have children of his own he had many beloved nieces and nephews that he enjoyed causing trouble with.

George is survived by his wife of 26 years Teresa Sherard, his brothers Clayton (Sue) Sherard and Jim Trujillo, numerous nieces and nephews that he loved like his own, along with several members of his pool family.

George is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Hazel Sherard, His father-in-law Edward Trujillo, his brother Jake Sherard, sister-in-law Jeanie Sherard, and his niece Ashley McKenzie.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.

    Teresa and Family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of George. He really is/was one of a kind. May your memories carry you.

    Ive known George for over 30 years, I worked on his wheel chair before he obtained an electric. He was always pleasant, and as luck would have it I bought the house next to his about 8 years ago for a rental, we always got along great. I am saddened by his passing.

    So sorry to read of George’s passing. We have known George for over 45 years…back to the days of the T&C. What a greatman he was. We will miss him. RIP 🙏🏻. Lee & Cindy Butler
