She enjoyed making a positive difference in the kids’ lives. Later Karen and her husband Gary opened and ran KG Screen-printing for many decades, serving the school districts of Sheridan County, and the local sports teams.

Karen loved quilting, reading, and cooking for her family. She also loved giving back to her community. She was a faithful Lion’s Club Member for decades; she was a part of the Akcita Win woman’s group for many years, and she volunteered at the Sheridan Inn and animal shelter.

Karen is survived by her husband of 69 years, Gary W. I remember Mrs Roth from her years at Coffeen. The children all adored her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and learning. Her gentle but firm ways reaching some of the more inattentive students did not go unnoticed by the parents and other students.
    Rest easy, you’ve earned it.
