Bill Albert Shupe, born October 29, 1933, in Audubon, Iowa, passed away on November 24, 2025, in Sheridan, Wyoming.

Bill proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954. Following his service, he began a long career in the construction and concrete industry. An early project brought him to Mobridge, South Dakota, where he met the love of his life, Coralie, whom he married in 1960. During the first decade of their marriage, Bill’s work took them to job sites across five states, and together they made 34 moves before finally settling in Sheridan in 1970.

Throughout his career, Bill took great pride in supervising concrete work on bridges, interstates, and canal projects. He retired from Kiewit Corporation in 1986 and later enjoyed managing the neighborhood irrigation system. Known for his craftsmanship and curiosity, Bill spent countless hours woodworking, tinkering in his garage, and exploring the mountains on hunts, fishing trips, and ATV rides. He treasured the camaraderie of friends who gathered with him over coffee each week for many years.

Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Russell Shupe (Helen).
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Coralie Shupe; his children, Jeff Shupe and Susan Shupe; four grandchildren; and his sister, Claribel Buersh, who celebrated her 100th birthday this year.

No funeral services will be held.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Online condolences may be made to www.sheridanfuneral.com. Arrangements are under the care of Sheridan Funeral Home.
