Sheridan County High School Volleyball: The Sheridan Lady Broncs have only 1 game on the schedule this week.

They play Friday at Natrona.

Big Horn will play at home this Saturday against Tongue River.

The Lady Rams are last year’s 2A state champs and so far this year, they are undefeated against 2A competition and have been able to hold their own against some teams in 4A and 3A.

Coach Alli Nikont says her team knows they have the bulls-eye on their back, and they don’t mind.

Alli Nikont

“The last few years we’ve kind of been the dark horse and we’ve snuck in some big wins, but this year we definitely feel that everyone is looking at us and I like the way they’re responding to the pressure of that. Our goal is to get better every single week and the girls continue to work and get better. We lost 2 seniors is all last year, so we’re pretty much the same team coming back, which is a good confidence boost and we’ve really been able to continue on from where we finished last year and we’re pressing forward.”

Before Big Horn and Tongue River play on Saturday, TR has a Friday game at Greybull.

As for Arvada-Clearmont, they will play Friday and Saturday at a tournament in Kaycee.

Sheridan County High School Cross Country: All 3 Sheridan County High School Teams will run on Friday.

Denver Bronco Football: The Denver Broncos play in the Thursday night game tomorrow at home against Indianapolis.

Kickoff is scheduled for 6:15pm

We will have the broadcast on AM 1410 KWYO.

Colorado Rockies Baseball: The Colorado Rockies won their third straight game on the road last night against the LA Dodgers, by a score of 5-to-2.

The Rocks conclude the 2022 regular season today with one last game at LA.

First pitch is scheduled for 2:10pm.

The playoffs start this Friday and all the wild card matchups are set…it does not matter what happens in today’s games.

In the National League it will be Philadelphia at St. Louis, and San Diego at the New York Mets.

The teams that survive will move on to play either the LA Dodgers or Atlanta.

In the American League, it will be Tampa Bay at Cleveland, and Seattle at Toronto.

The surviving teams would next meet up with either Houston or the New York Yankees.

The wild-card round is a best 2 of 3 format and the home team will host all 2 or 3 games.

Sheridan College Rodeo: Sheridan College hosted the Pat Hamilton Memorial Rodeo this past weekend and it was a muddy one.

Clancy Glenn placed 3rd in the saddle bronc event.
