Val Vista Rezone Moves Forward on Second Reading

An ordinance to rezone 35,000 square feet of property on Val Vista Street from an R-3 residence district to an B-2 business district was recently approved by the Sheridan City Council. City Community Development Director Wade Sanner said the applicants are looking to rezone 35,000 square feet of property located at 755 to 715 Val Vista Street from R-3 residence district to B-2 business district.

Sanner said the proposed rezone is in accordance with the future land use map as the land use map designates the area for commercial use. The ordinance to rezone the property must be approved one more time by the Council before it takes effect.
