Published

End of life conversations can be difficult to have with family members. Dementia Friendly Wyoming, a department of the Hub on Smith in Sheridan, helps people living with dementia and those who support them find resources, build skills and stay connected to their community.

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Pulse, Dementia Friendly Wyoming Director Heather Comstock and Hub Board Member and Registered Nurse Jeannie Julian announced an upcoming workshop titled, Our End of Life Deserves as Much Beauty, Care and Grace as the Beginning.

Julian said the workshop will approach these tough conversations with empathy and compassion but will address the issues every family needs to know before the end of life.

The workshop will begin at 10 a.m., Wednesday Oct. 14 at the Hub on Smith.
