Thompson throws hat into the County Commission ring

Sheriff Allen Thompson has announced he is running for Sheridan County Commissioner.

Thompson announced his retirement from the Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office in Oct. 2021. 

In a letter announcing his candidacy, Thompson addresses the recent population increase, increased growth rate of Sheridan County and has had a front row seat to many of the local government meetings and decisions made over the last five years.
