Sheridan area Veterans of any age, invited to schedule COVID-19 vaccination for an event Feb. 13

COVID-19 vaccination appointments are now available to Sheridan-area Veterans of any age who are enrolled in VA health care and can receive the shot on Saturday, Feb. 13, at the Sheridan VA Medical Center. 

The medical center is holding a vaccination event that day for Veterans who are interested in receiving it, however space is by appointment only and may fill quickly. 

According to Sheridan VA Medical Center Health Care System Pharmacy Chief Kelly Moran, some Veterans have reported symptoms after receiving the vaccination. During an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Moran wanted to reassure Veterans and anyone hesitant to receive the vaccine, those symptoms are actually a good sign. 

Additional vaccination opportunities will be available in the future. The number to schedule an appointment for the vaccination on that day is 307-672-3473, extension 7518— the Sheridan VA Medical Center requests that interested parties please call between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
