Gain a sneak peak into the lives and customs of one of Wyoming’s most influential families by spending “Christmas Eve” with the Kendrick family this year.
Trail End Historic Site is inviting the public to spend Christmas with the Kendricks at the historic Kendrick Mansion.
The public is invited to tour the Kendrick Mansion by electric candlelight as live actors put on a performance as the family room by room. Visitors will see what the family and their staff members might have been doing on a Christmas Eve in their home, known from the start as Trail End.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Trail End Historic Site Superintendent Sharie Shada gave listeners an idea of what they might see during their visit.
The tours last approximately one hour and will be held Friday and Saturday, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., on Dec. 18 and 19, and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 20. Tickets are still available and cost $10 per person. Guests should arrive only 15 minutes before your tour time. The elevator will be available for tours on Sunday only, and can accommodate non-electric wheelchairs, small electric wheelchairs, and walkers.
