Dayton Area power Outage Alert

MDU reports that power in the Dayton area is unlikely to be restored until after dark due to wind-related outages.

Crews are still working on outages in other areas, including Big Horn and Story. At this time, those locations are expected to have power restored sooner.

If you need electricity, heat, or a warm place to go, the Tongue River Valley Community Center is open and has power available to assist residents. The Community Center will be open until 9 p.m. tonight.

Please continue to use caution around downed trees and power lines, and call 911 to report any downed or hazardous lines. Updates will be shared as they become available.
