Ucross Cookbook Author Holds Book Signing

On Saturday, Feb. 26, Sheridan Stationary and the Ucross Foundation hosted a book signing for Cindy Brooks, author of “The Ucross Cookbook.”

Brooks has cooked for award-winning visual artists, writers, choreographers, composers, and more on Ucross’s ranch in northern Wyoming since 2009.

“The Ucross Cookbook features Brooks’ most popular recipes and stories, in addition to landscape photographs and creative essays by 10 alumni artists.

Caitlin Addlesperger Communications and Special Events Manger at the Ucross Foundation, said “The book signing is going well, we’ve had several people in and out.”

Cindy Brooks said, “People have loved the book, the essays by the Ucross alumni have been really popular with the folks as well as has the photography.”

Addlesperger said “People are saying incredible things about the food. We’ve got people on social media sending photos of the food they have made using the recipes and feedback is very Immedient.”

Addlesperger added that Sheridan Stationary has been very helpful, and they carry the book. She said that Brooks will be teaching a cooking class in April at Verdello Olive Oils and Fine Foods.
