DSA: 3rd Thursday registration opens May 1

The Downtown Sheridan Association has been working through the spring on seasonal promotional events happening in the downtown district with the success of PEEP Dreams and Spring Cha-Ching. For the small staff and volunteers at the DSA that momentum isn’t slowing. 

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, DSA Treasurer and long-time board member Kristin Herbst said there are many stokes in the fire at the DSA office as summer approaches.

The DSA led 3rd Thursday Street Festival is scheduled for June 18, July 16, Aug. 20, and Sept. 17 this year. This popular event is made possible by many people in the community to promote not only the downtown businesses but to generate a strong sense of community in Sheridan.

And many of those people are selfless volunteers that assist in the setup and tear down of booths and road barriers. The DSA is in search of individuals that would like to become involved in this event through volunteering. Registration for businesses, local government, 501c3s and other entities to secure a booth is quickly approaching.
