Buffalo resident Mark Jones has announced his intention to run for the seat in Wyoming’s House District 40 (Johnson-Sheridan).

Jones, in a release, said, “Our country and the state of Wyoming face unprecedented challenges that threaten our American way of life. Politicians in Washington, D.C. and Cheyenne have allowed our American Republic to slide towards socialism, putting our future in danger.”

The release went on to say, “…if I am elected to represent House District 40 in the Wyoming Legislature, I will stand up for traditional conservative Wyoming and American principals. I will oppose any attempts to change fundamental truths that made America the greatest nation on earth.”

Jones added, “ I have always and will continue to fight for all personal freedoms and liberties including Second Amendment rights, parental rights, healthcare freedom and autonomy, and freedom of speech and religion.”

He said, “I hope you will consider voting for me in the upcoming August 20 Primary.”
