Lady Bronc Volleyball v Thunder Basin Friday / Sheridan High School Hosts the “Michelle Ludwig” X-Country Invite Thursday / The TR Football Eagles Host Upton / Sundance Thursday Evening

VOLLEYBALL – One goal for any sports team is to do better than last year and as far as the Sheridan high school volleyball team is concerned, that goal is already within reach.

Last year, the Lady Broncs only won 8 of 31 games, and so far this year they’ve already won 6, less than halfway into the season.

Head coach Kaitlyn Zarpentine says one of the differences between last year’s team and this year’s, is that this year, more players are trying to step up and make that big play.

Their next game is Friday at home vs. Thunder Basin the varsity match will start at 6:00 and Saturday they play at Campbell county.

The Big Horn Lady Rams host Wright Friday and play at Thermopolis Saturday.

The Tongue River Lady Eagles are idle this weekend.

FOOTBALL – The Sheridan Broncs are back at home this week hosting Rock Springs we will have the game live for you on KWYO 14-10 AM and 106.9 FM, the First Federal bank and trust pregame show starts at 6:30 with kickoff at 7:00 we will also have our live video webstream at sheridanmedia.com.

The Big Horn Rams are at home taking on Glenrock Friday at 6:00 and this week the Tongue River Eagles play tomorrow night host Upton / Sundance at 6:00.

The Wyoming football Cowboys hit the road for a game at Texas Saturday night the game will kickoff at 6:00.

The Denver Broncos host Washington Sunday afternoon kickoff is set for 2:25.

SWIMMING / DIVING – The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers will compete in Gillette Friday and host Kelly Walsh Saturday.

X-COUNTRY – The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams host the annual “Michelle Ludwig” Sheridan invitational tomorrow at Black Tooth park, the Big Horn and Tongue River runners will be competing as well.

STATE GOLF – This week it’s time for the high school golf state tournaments, Big Horn and Tongue River will tee it up in Newcastle while the Powder Horn will host the 4A state tournament Friday and Saturday.
