Sheridan Commission Ratifies Suspend Work Notice

The Sheridan County Commission, during their regular meeting Tuesday, voted to to ratify a Suspend Work Notice on the Brooks Street Greenspace project.

According to a copy of the Notice from the county, Northern Underground, LLC was directed to suspend work on the project effective January 6 for a winter shutdown.

The project has 69 calendar days remaining to be completed and a Resume Work Order will be issued when conditions allow work to continue.

Also according to the Notice, interior work may continue for a total of 45 calendar days without counting towards or adding to the 220-calendar day window for the entire project.

The commission approved a change order on the project back in September, adding just under $67,000 and 30 calendar days to the overall contract, the only authorized extension on the project.
