Monster Mash Costume Contest

The Main Street Monster Mash Costume Contest was held at Grinnell Plaza Saturday. For the first time, adults were judged in their costumes.

Downtown Sheridan Association event specialist said last year the DSA observed “a lot of great family costumes.” “So, we decided to add a family category to celebrate the creativity when we have a group of costumes.”

She said this year she saw “so much creativity.”

The Mario family won the contest.
