BPD Chief Gives Body Camera Update
Buffalo Police Chief Sean Bissett gave an update to the city council during their recent meeting, on the status of body-worn cameras for the department.
Bissett also reported that there were nearly 2,750 incidents called into dispatch with officers responding to 580 of those, resulting in two arrests during the month of October.
He said police, fire, and the Johnson County Sheriffs office responded to a vehicle fire and kept the fire from spreading to the residence.
Bissett also praised everyone for the turnout during the recent Halloween activities and Monster March, in which no problems were reported.
