With hunting seasons around the corner, Wyoming Game and Fish Public Information Specialist Christina Schmidt made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to discuss hunter education cards.
These cards verify that a hunter has met the required educational and practical requirements of understanding hunting regulations and firearms use and safety.
Wyoming does require that hunters are able to produce evidence of Hunter Education completion while in the field.
Hunters who may have lost their card in Wyoming can request a new one by clicking here. Hunters who have completed the course in other states and lost their cards should have a similar program according to Schmidt.
A split hunter education course is currently being offered by the Wyoming Game and Fish, find information on that by clicking here.
