BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Sheridan Broncs lost at home to Cheyenne East 16-14 penalties in bad spots and a couple turnovers cost the Broncs the victory on the positive side the defense to a great job of keeping them in the game, here’s Head coach Jeff Mowry.

Mowry says their offensive issues must be corrected.

They have four games to play they are at Natrona county this week then back to Casper for a game with Kelly Walsh then back to back at home to end the regular season with Thunder Basin and Campbell county.

RAMS FOOTBALL – The Big Horn rams beat Burns on the road 42-8 they host Torrington Friday at 6:00.

EAGLES FOOTBALL – The Tongue River Eagles shutout Newcastle 30-0 the Eagles play at Upton / Sundance Friday at 6:00.

WOLVES FOOTBALL – The NSI Wolves got the victory over Midwest when the Oilers had to forfeit their game Saturday.

COWBOY CLASSICS – This week’s University of Wyoming classic football game will be the Pokes vs Central Michigan in the 2017 Potato bowl in Boise the Cowboys won 37-14 it was Josh Allen’s final game in a UW uniform the game will air tomorrow at 1:00 on 14-10 KWYO and 106.9 FM.

BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos lost to Tampa Bay 28-10, the Broncos play at the NY Jets Thursday night kickoff is at 6:20 on 14-10 KWYO and 106.9 FM.

STATE TENNIS – The Broncs and Lady Broncs played at the Wyoming state tennis championships both teams finished 3rd top finishers had Julia Kutz winning the #2 singles state championship, Sydni Bilyeu and Victoria Pearce were 2nd in #2 doubles for the Broncs Jarett Hoy and Tristan Thompson were state champs in #3 doubles.

VOLLEYBALL – The Lady Bronc volleyball team dropped matches to Riverton and Natrona county

The Tongue River Lady Eagles lost their match Saturday against Sundance.

The Big Horn Lady Rams beat Pine Bluffs Saturday.

SWIMMING / DIVING – The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers lost a dual to Laramie and picked up dual victories against Kelly Walsh and Cheyenne East.

HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks hockey team will open their season this week on the road at Bozeman, Montana their home openers will be October 9th and 10th hosting Butte, Montana.
