Troopers Drop two in Laramie / Jets win Again in State Tournament / Rockies at Rangers Tonight in MLB Season Opener

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers have lost three straight after losing both ends of Wednesday’s double header at Laramie, the rangers swept the games 3-2 and 7-1.

The Troops are off today and will play a double header in Gillette tomorrow.

The next home games will be Sunday when they host Rapid City Post 22 that double header will start at 2:00.

JETS BASEBALL – The Sheridan Jets are hosting the “B” state tournament they stayed in the winners bracket last night with a 2-1 win over the Casper Roughnecks.

Other games Wednesday the Casper Crush eliminated Powell 13-5 and Cheyenne eliminated Bridger Valley 4-2.

Games today will have Cheyenne playing the Casper Roughnecks at 1:00 then the Jets play the Casper Crush at 4:00.

The tournament concludes tomorrow with the title game set for 11:00 am.
