Junior Hawks Restocking for 2020-21

Last season the Hawks roster included two international players Stepan Ruta from the Czech Republic and James Downie from Australia, according to league rules teams can have four “imports” or foreign players. Schieb says this coming season they will be looking to expand that number.

As of today Schieb has two more international players planning on playing for the Hawks this fall one from Russia and another from the UK.

Schieb also added that he will have a new assistant coach from the Czech Republic.

Right now its not a done deal as the United States deals with the on going COVID-19 pandemic.

We talked about new players yesterday but Schieb says the great thing about the upcoming season he has several players coming back that will anchor this year’s roster.

Players are expecting to report at the end of August.
