Michelle Ludwig X-Country Invite in Sheridan Friday / Sheridan, TR and BH Football on the Road This Week / Pokes Host the AFA Friday Night

CROSS COUNTRY – The Sheridan high school cross country runners host the annual Michelle Ludwig invitational Friday at Black Tooth park.

As the season continues this week both teams have been very consistent, Head coach Art Bauers.

For decades the Broncs and Lady Broncs held meets on the grounds at the Sheridan NA, but with COVID-19 they moved the meets to Black Tooth park and Bauers says the runners like the course at Black Tooth.

And a reminder the Michelle Ludwig invite will be run Friday afternoon instead of the traditional Saturday event.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL – All three Sheridan county high school football teams play on the road Friday, the Sheridan Broncs play at Rock Springs we will have the game live for you on 14-10 KWYO and 106.9 FM plus our live video web stream at sheridanmedia.com.

The Tongue River Eagles play at Upton / Sundance and the Big Horn Rams play at Glenrock.

COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming Cowboys have a rare Friday night game at home vs the Air Force Academy that game will kickoff at 6:00, you can hear it live on Smart Talk 106.3 FM kickoff is set for 6:00.

TENNIS – The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams start the post season this week at their regional tournament in Powell play begins Friday.

GOLF – The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers open the state tournament Friday at Rock Springs.

SWIMMING / DIVING – The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers host a dual with Casper Kelly Walsh Saturday and next week it’s time for the Sheridan invitational.

VOLLEYBALL – The Sheridan Lady Bronc volleyball team plays at Thunder Basin Friday and home vs Campbell county Saturday.

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks are 1-1 on the season and will play their first two home dates of the season this week, they host the Butte Cobras Friday and Saturday night game times are 7:30.
