HAWKS JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks host two with the Great Falls Americans Friday and Saturday they have eight games left in the regular season they have qualified for the playoffs and currently sit in 2nd place in the division one game behind Bozeman in the standings, Head coach Andy Schieb says these last eight games are huge for the Hawks.
They split their games with the Yellowstone Quake last week winning a rough match up Saturday and he gave credit to the players for winning a gritty game.
And Schieb says this week’s opponent Great Falls presents them with another tough home double header.
Friday night’s game starts at 7:30 they go Saturday at 7:00.
BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL – The Broncs and Lady Broncs play at Cheyenne Central and East games times Friday are at 6:00 and 7:30 and Saturday at noon and 1:30 we will have all four games live on KWYO and 106.9 FM.
EAGLES / RAMS BASKETBALL – The Tongue River and Big Horn basketball teams meet in Dayton tomorrow, Friday the Rams and Lady Rams will play at Buffalo the Eagles and Lady Eagles play at Sundance Friday.
SC BASKETBALL – The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals play at Northwest college in Powell tonight and at Laramie county Saturday. They play their next home games against Gillette next week on Wednesday.
COWBOY BASKETBALL – The Wyoming Cowboys lost 67-62 to Boise state Tuesday night, next up for the Pokes a trip to “The Pit” at New Mexico Saturday evening.
COWGIRL BASKETBALL – The Cowgirls play at Boise state tonight you can hear the game on KWYO and 106.9 FM pregame at 6:30 and the tip at 7:00.
INDOOR TRACK – The Sheridan high school indoor track teams will have their next action at a meet in Casper Saturday.
The Broncs continue their dominance of the spring schedule and in their last meet they picked up their second new school record of the season as Brock Bomar set a new Sheridan high school standard in the 400 meters.
SWIMMING / DIVING – The Bronc swimmers and divers finished start the post season with their conference meet in Gillette events start Friday.
WRESTLING – The Bronc wrestlers host a dual with Kelly Walsh tomorrow night at 6:00 they host Cheyenne East and Central Friday and Cheyenne South Saturday.
