Mary Louise Lund
A private family celebration of life for Mary Louise Lund, 73-year-old Buffalo resident who passed away September 7th at her home in Buffalo will be held by her family at a time to be announced. Donations in Mary’s memory may be made to the Mary Lund Memorial, a fund set up to help with final expenses in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo, Wyoming 82834. Mary Louise Lund was born on July 17, 1953 in Buffalo, Wyoming to Halsey and Carolyn Turk. She grew up and went to school in Linch. The family moved to Buffalo in 1969 and Mary attended Johnson County High School. She was married on August 3rd, 1972 in Billings, Montana to Loren Lund and they made their home in Sheridan. Mary spent her working life as a private home care giver. They moved to Buffalo in 2002. Loren passed away in March of 2004, and Mary continued living in Buffalo until her death.
Mary was an avid gardener, enjoyed crafts and spending time camping in the Big Horn Mountains. She is survived by three sons, Grant Hansen and his wife Dusty of Sheridan, Dan Lund of Buffalo and Jim Lund of Sheridan; two daughters, crystal Lund and Amy Lund both of Buffalo; fifteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and one sister.
