George William Flint was born on September 19, 1950, in Portland, Oregon to William Oscar Flint and Edna Bashor Flint and passed away at Westview Health Care Center, on December 12, 2025. George was their only child, but he had 5 siblings. George was orphaned as a teenager and was then raised by Ed and Betty where he became their seventh child.
George spent 2 years in the Navy during the Vietnam Era. After his return to Portland, OR, George became a paramedic and started working for the ambulance service. He held many different positions during his time, including supervisor and eventually dispatcher.
George had a friend that was going to work in a hospital in Saudi Arabia and asked him to join him. George went along and one day the Crown Prince came into the hospital and chose three Americans to join his medical team. George enjoyed that tremendously and always had fond memories and lots of stories to tell about the time he spent there.
George always made friends wherever he was and had quite the sense of humor which kept everyone on their toes. He will be missed by those who knew him.
