Raven Lee Lunsford
Raven Lee Lunsford, of Sheridan, Wyoming, passed away on her 31st birthday, September 11, 2025. Born in 1994, Raven lived a life full of light, love and fierce determination. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, courage, and authenticity.
Raven had a heart as vibrant as her favorite color – purple. She cherished unicorns, puppies, babies, dressing up and traveling. She was a proud member of County Masters Special Olympics, where she excelled in bowling and assisted walking. Raven’s passion, perseverance, and dedication inspired all who knew her.
Feisty, fearless and full of heart, Raven was a strong self-advocate and a loyal friend. She stood up for what was right, always lending her voice in support of others. She had a unique ability to make people feel seen, heard, and loved – just by being herself.
Raven is survived by her father, Michael Lunsford; sister, Lena Elmer; brother, Lance Elmer; aunt, Ali Cruz Moralas; and numerous cousins who adored her. She is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Rachel Elmer, and her maternal grandparents.
A Memorial Service to honor and Celebrate Raven’s life will be held at Easter Seals Wyoming, 991 Joe St., Sheridan, on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
All who knew and loved Raven are welcome to attend.
To honor her memory, guests are encouraged to wear purple, share stories, and carry forward her spirit of joy, advocacy, and unwavering love.
